A few years ago, we made a bold decision … to bring back StreetRace Rivals. Honestly, we had no idea how many ups and downs were waiting for us. But we didn’t give up. We put our hearts into it and slowly started turning the dream into something real.
We decided to take things step by step. Instead of jumping into a huge game all at once, we wanted to grow the project in stages. That way, we could look for better funding options as we went, and build up everything piece by piece until the game looked like what we had imagined from the start.
Stage 1: StreetRace Rivals 3
The first step was StreetRace Rivals 3. Here, we had to create all the basic stuff: the core game systems, our tools, the gameplay mechanics, production pipelines, and a proper game framework. We used what we had built earlier with StreetRace Rivals 2, but upgraded everything, new systems, better tools, and fresh graphics. That gave us a solid base to work from.
The game still sticks to what made it fun in the first place. It’s all about drag racing, buying and upgrading cars, customizing your rides, and beating rivals. One of the big challenges in the game is taking on gang members in different cities or areas. Since most racing games on mobile use landscape mode, we wanted to try something different and went with portrait mode instead. That wasn’t an easy choice. Making a racing game feel right in portrait mode was tricky and took a lot of testing.
We also switched the racing view to a top-down angle. It’s more dynamic now and depends on how the tracks are laid out, which makes it more fun and unique.

Stage 2: StreetRace Nation

The version we’re working on now is already preparing things for the bigger game we want to make, StreetRace Nation. The plan is to build a fully working garage system with crews, tools, and some management gameplay. You’ll be able to upgrade things, make choices, and build your own dream garage or workshop. You can hire your team, customize everything, and make it feel truly yours.
We’re also really excited about the social features. You’ll be able to race against your friends, join leagues, take part in tournaments and events, and compete with players from all around the world. We think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
